Why Freshness Matters

Crypto exchange bonuses change frequently. A 30,000 USDT welcome offer may be replaced by a 20,000 USDT offer without announcement. KYC requirements are updated as exchanges respond to regulatory changes. Promo codes expire, sometimes within days.

Outdated bonus data is not just unhelpful — it actively harms users who deposit based on a bonus that no longer exists. Our update policy exists to prevent that.

Scheduled Re-Verification

Every page type has a maximum age before it is scheduled for re-verification, regardless of whether we've received any reports of changes:

Page Type Max Age Re-Verification Trigger
Exchange Review Pages Every 30 days Bonus terms, KYC rules, or deposit conditions change
Bonus Landing Pages Every 30 days Bonus amount or activation method changes
Bonus Code Pages Every 21 days Promo code expires or changes
Compare Pages Every 45 days Either compared exchange updates its offer
Use-Case Pages Every 60 days Featured exchange adds or removes a relevant feature
Coin Pages Every 60 days Exchange support or network availability changes
Country Pages Every 90 days Regulatory status change in that country
Guide Content Every 90 days Industry practices or linked products change
Static Pages Every 365 days Policy or legal requirement changes

Event-Triggered Updates

In addition to scheduled reviews, updates are triggered immediately when:

  • A user reports a data discrepancy via our contact page
  • We detect an exchange announcement of a promotion change
  • An exchange updates its official terms and conditions document
  • Regulatory action is taken against an exchange in a listed country
  • A bonus code is reported as expired or invalid

What the "Last Verified" Date Means

Each exchange review page displays a "Last Verified" date. This is the date on which a member of our editorial team manually checked the exchange's official promotion page and confirmed the listed data remains accurate.

"Last Verified" does not mean the data was changed on that date — only that it was confirmed correct. A page verified on the 1st of the month but not changed since January still shows the latest verification date.

Stale Data Handling

If a page has not been re-verified within its maximum age threshold, our internal monitoring system flags it for review. Pages in the following states are automatically marked for urgent re-verification:

  • Exchange pages older than 45 days without re-verification
  • Bonus code pages older than 21 days without re-verification
  • Any page where the linked affiliate URL returns a 404 or redirect to a different promotion

While flagged for re-verification, no additional changes are made to the page until the data is confirmed current.

Correction Commitments

When an error is identified and confirmed:

  • Minor data correction (e.g., wrong fee percentage, minor wording): corrected within 24 hours
  • Material error (e.g., wrong bonus amount, incorrect KYC status, wrong affiliate link): corrected within 6 hours, correction note added to page for 14 days
  • Critical error (e.g., exchange is no longer operational, funds at risk): page removed or suspended within 2 hours

Sunset Policy

Exchanges that no longer offer a welcome bonus, have ceased operations, or pose credible user fund risk are removed from comparison tables and bonus listings. Their standalone review page is preserved for transparency, marked clearly as "No Longer Active" or "Bonus Discontinued".
